Kaido Battle 2: Chain Reaction (released in PAL regions as Kaido Racer by Konami Europe) is the second game in the Kaido Battle PlayStation 2 spin-off series of Shutokou Battle. It was released on February 26, 2004. The PAL release was released in November 2005. It is best known for not being released in the United States of America. The reason why it was not released in the US is unknown.

Since Koukami defeated Hamagaki, the former Emotional King, new racers appeared and new circuits opened (Akagi, Zao...) and Koukami is now the new Emotional King.
Some Slashers have returned, such as MMC Ooaza and Haruna Guardian, some have moved like Lonely Wanderer, and others have come.
In Japan, Famitsu scored Kaido Battle 2: Chain Reaction a 33/40. It sold 91,785 copies in Japan despite its good score.
